In Her Own Words

CRH is a great place to work—they provide the tools, resources and support that you need to reach your career goals. They take the time to find the right people who will fit the culture, and then give them opportunities to succeed.

I became part of the CRH family through an acquisition (APAC) in 2006. I worked for Americas Materials as a receptionist and office assistant, joining the law group in 2011. I was recently promoted to Senior Legal Administrative Assistant in January of 2017. Throughout my tenure, my managers showed interest in developing my skills and encouraging my career and personal growth, and that means a lot! The company’s support, along with the support of my manager, led me to start my paralegal studies. CRH gives you the platform to be successful.

I also enjoy the atmosphere, the quality of the people and the opportunity to participate in community oriented activities, such as Habitat for Humanity. Even though my job at headquarters does not involve travel, I have traveled to a few locations over the years to help build CRH sponsored Habitat homes built in Ohio and Utah. I loved seeing the boots on the ground at these events, and getting to meet and volunteer with colleagues as well as learning about different aspects of the company while bettering the communities we work in.

If you’re interested in growing in your career, this company is a fantastic fit! They really care about finding the right people for the right jobs, and then helping them to continue to grow in their role.
