I work as a Corporate Recruiter for Oldcastle APG, a division that produces building materials such as pavers, masonry, dry mix concrete products, mulch, soil, decorated stone and composite decking. I support Oldcastle APG in finding talented folks who make, ship and sell our items every day.
When did you join CRH? I joined CRH in August 2018.
Where is your job located?
My position is in Rochester, New York.
What do you like about working at CRH?
Our recruiting team is very supportive and a fun bunch to work with. Every day is an adventure!
What are the best parts of your job?
I really enjoy getting the opportunity to get to know many people from around the United States. It’s interesting to talk with so many different individuals and get a feel for their career paths. I also like knowing that I am helping hard-working people find stable and fulfilling jobs.
What was your first job?
I was a sales associate at a pet store.
Tell us about your family.
My girlfriend and I recently moved to Rochester, New York, from St. Petersburg, Florida to be closer to family and to come back to our Northeastern roots. We have two dogs, a Mini Australian Shepherd and a Cairn Terrier who keep us on our toes!
What are your hobbies?
I love to hike with my dogs and be in nature. I also enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, and binge-watching quality TV shows.
What was your first concert?
My first concert was 3 Doors Down.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie changes all of the time, but right now it’s probably Frozen.
