Being Irish, I always wanted to work as part of CRH. I was thrilled when my precast background landed me the opportunity to work in the US as a market analyst. The role allowed me to gain exposure to different Oldcastle Infrastructure products and how they are positioned in the various markets we serve. After a year, I moved to a manager role. I was responsible for developing products within the Energy market, bringing them from concept to commercialization.

Oldcastle Infrastructure’s national footprint allows me to travel to different parts of the country to explore various facilities, see the different mix of products, meet local teams, and learn about the different best practices in each region. As a person starting off in my career, Oldcastle Infrastructure provided the perfect environment for a young, determined employee to thrive and take on big responsibilities with support, training and mentorship from long term company veterans—which is hard to find these days in large corporations. We work together, and I truly feel like I’m part of a great team and family. This was especially valuable and comforting to me and my family in Ireland when I first arrived in the states—knowing that I had the guidance and support of a great group of people.
